State Curricula Section Added to GRAPHIC COMM CENTRAL

April 2005

GRAPHIC COMM CENTRAL (GCC), the graphic communications industry's education web portal, has launched a new State Curricula section designed to help teachers quickly locate state-approved instructional materials, lesson plans, and classroom activities.

Twenty-two of the 50 states have published Graphic Communications and/or Communication Technology Curriculum Guides, all of which are easily accessed from the new State Curricula section. In addition, the section provides links to all state Technology Education and Career and Technical Education web sites.

To access the new State Curricula section, click the "Curriculum and Instruction" link in the GCC homepage menu, then click "State Curricula." The new section may also be accessed directly at http://teched.vt.edu/gcc/HTML/Curriculum/StateCurric.html.

For further information, contact GCC Project Director Mark Sanders at m.sanders@vt.edu.
