EDSF Announces 2006 Excellence in Education and Educator of the Year Awards

The Electronic Document Systems Foundation (EDSF) has announced the 2006 Excellence in Education and Educator of the Year award recipients. The 2006 EDSF Excellence in Education Award recipients will be recognized for their dedication to the document management and communications industry at the EDSF Industry Leaders' Luncheon in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, during the AIIM and ON DEMAND Expos on May 16 at the Pennsylvania Convention Center. EDSF will be located in booth 4207, Hall D.
"It is critical that the educators and academic programs are recognized for their excellence and innovation in preparing future professionals," said Mike Jackson, EDSF Vice Chair for Education and Senior Vice President, Weyerhaeuser Company. "Their work not only benefits the overall industry, but it shapes the future of the document management and communications marketplace as well."

The Educator of the Year Award is presented to an academic professional who is dedicated to the advancement of the industry through education. They have made outstanding contributions to educational efforts in the document management and communications industry. Such individuals demonstrate leadership, motivation and enthusiasm.
